2020 - PresentDesigning a Modern Devotional Platform—for Digital & In-Person Seva
DevDham is a digital-first devotional platform that helps devotees experience live/recorded darshan, book pujas remotely, and plan in-person rituals at major temples across India. From Gaya Pind Daan during Pitra Paksha to VIP darshan and prasad delivery, the experience is built on trust, clarity, and cultural authenticity.
Tessernaut partnered with DevDham to define the brand identity, product strategy, UX/UI, and launch collateral—making complex ritual journeys simple, transparent, and mobile-friendly.
Overview
We created a scalable design system and end-to-end product flows:
- Multi-year partnership & rebrand: We partner from the project’s infancy (then DevDarshan) and lead the rebrand to DevDham—new identity, collateral system, website, and a redesigned app experience.
- Core product ownership: We shape the core app UX/UI, visual system, website, and marketing—from formalizing the first group-puja workflow during COVID to a scalable, production-ready platform.
- Partner app (Saathi): We create Saathi, evolving it from expense/prasad management for partners into a full streaming & broadcast tool with one-on-one video for astrology sessions.
- Feature expansion across modules: We grow the app from temple darshan into a suite: Group Puja, Panchang, My Mandir, Wallet, Astro Sessions, and Crowdfunding—with a robust date/location/add-ons selector and iterative cart/checkout improvements that lift conversions on app and web.
- Web + content ecosystem: We mirror core capabilities on the web while putting the brand front and center; we spin up a blog/CMS and a Shopify store for abhimantrit products to open new engagement and revenue channels.
- Physical brand system: We design prasad packs & boxes (incl. color variants), standees, canopy kits, calendars, and other ground-ops assets.
- Marketing at scale: We build reusable templates and ad/post sets to support 100+ puja launches per month (internal ops cadence).
- Team & process: We lead design across streams, then hire, train, and hand over to an in-house team while maintaining standards and a shared design system; we also pilot AI workflows to speed creative production and QA.
